New things are a lot…

Hello everyone. This is my first blog post on jadeladewig.com.

I’m really excited to be doing something new. But new things are also hard because there are so many fears. So I sit here, squashing down as much of that as I can, to put forth a little of me on the page. I’m enjoying creating more though, and being open to how that evolves. With this blog, I hope to review and share with you some of the books I have been reading, the progress of my own novel, and the parts of the world that are speaking to me. Sometimes that might be the parts that are quirky, innovative, beautiful or dark.

For example:

• Yohi Yamamoto’s Many Buttons Shirt - I want it and hate it at the same time.

• The diverse ways that service animals can help with psychiatric disorders - Blown away again by what animals can do.

• The synopsis for Laline Paull’s novel Pod - Written from the perspective of a dolphin. Yes, I have ordered it and will do a review once I have finished.

• Temple Grandin’s explanation about ‘rapist roosters’ - This one I am still reeling from
